Our new home-away-from-home in Granby, CO

Some of you may have heard and others have not, but we purchased a condo in Granby, CO at the ski resort, Granby Ranch.  We made this decision for many reasons, but mostly because we needed a place to get away, a place that the kids and I could learn how to ski, and a place to share with friends and family that want to experience all Colorado has to offer in a budget friendly way.  We hope you will take us up on the offer!
We closed on the property Sept 22nd and spent our 1st weekend up there the following weekend.  The kids had a great time, it was so peaceful and relaxing, and the fall colors were spectacular.  Here are some of my favorite pics from the weekend.  Since, we have been up two other times, and we are anxiously awaiting the opening day of skiing at Granby Ranch, which is December 11th.  Yes, Tim is determined to get this Iowa girl not only skiing, but loving skiing!

CU Buffs vs Hawaii

We were so blessed to be given tickets to the CU Buffs game versus Hawaii.  It was a scorcher of a day, but we had a great time.  This was Cate's first Buffs game.  She did good, despite the warm temps and having to sit for a long period of time.  Drew and Ev always have fun!  Drew loves to watch football and Ev loves to watch the cheerleaders!

Jaguars Flag Football-Fall 2014

Drew played flag football again this fall.  This time he participated in the Lafayette Rec Center league (which included real games).  He really had a great time and learned a lot.  His coaches were amazing and, even though he was one of the youngest on the team, they did not make him feel like it.  He got to play all the positions and found he enjoyed defense the most.  His favorite thing to do was dive tackle to pull the flags.  His team was the Lafayette Jaguars and, even though they never kept track, I would say they had a winning season!

We went through two mouth guards with this kid because he is obsessed with chewing on it!

First day of Pre-K

Evelyn was so excited for her first day of Pre-K.  One day closer to kindergarten and being a Peak to Peak Puma like big brother!  When she grows up she wants to be a princess and a mom.  She will be great at both of those roles!
