First time in the Jumparoo

Catherine is the youngest so far to try and like the Jumparoo.  She doesn't make it jump yet but likes to spin around and push the buttons.

Vacation in Kearney-Day and Night 2

I love this kid!  We decided he looked like a minion from Despicable Me.

Much needed snuggles from Grandpa

Never have we seen a sign calling it Natty Light...Natty's namesake.

We spent the morning at Cabelas because it was chilly and windy outside.

We had KFC for lunch at the hotel and surprised Grandpa with this cake.  Peanut butter chocolate!  Yum!

Then we went to Pioneer Village.  Everyone recommended it and now I understand why.  Another place to definitely see, without kids preferably...although they had a great time.

Second night of swimming lasted a little longer.  Kiddos stayed warm by jumping off the edge to Troy and Grandpa.

This girl loves her Grandpa Jim.  She gets excited when she hears his voice.

Vacation in Kearney, NE-Night 1

After the museum we went to dinner at Carlos O'Kelleys.

Then it was time for swimming!  Unfortunately the water was freezing, so it was very short swim time.  The two older kiddos then had a sleepover in Grandma and Grandpa's room.

Vacation in Kearney, NE-Day 1

We were so excited for our trip to Nebraska to meet my mom, dad, sister and her family.  As soon as we arrived, we went to the museum that crosses I-80.  If anyone has driven through NE, you know what I am talking about.  I wish we could have spent hours there, but with little ones, that is impossible.  This is a MUST SEE for anyone curious!

Cael was fascinated with the buffalo...Ev was scared...Drew named it Ralphie

Cael has inherited some fears from his mom...he was afraid to cross the bridge...I offered my hand

Here is a photo of the museum from the walking trail...too windy to do the entire walking trail but we saw some of it.

Took the escalator up to the museum and walked through a covered wagon at the top...very cool sound effects at this museum.

My dad has an Cousin named Patty Reed

Everyone wore headphones and listened to a tour as you walked through

This is at the end of the tour they have windows with speedometers in them to catch people speeding on I-80.

Cael wanted all the plastic donuts and cookies at the diner

We fed the fish in the North Platte River...HUGE grass carp

Cate was happy to see her extended family and meet Lainie

I love my mom's face in this photo...something was surprising!

YMCA basketball

Drew started basketball at the Y on Sat mornings.  Just like football, he loves it!  And, his biased dad says, he is the best on the team!

Can't see because of the ref but he got a layup here!

Break away!

Pippy

Pippy is our neighbor's new Portugese Water Dog puppy.  I think when she is full grown she will  be able to jump the fence!  Good thing it likes kids!  Evelyn is tentative because of her sharp puppy teeth and she is as tall as her when she jumps against the fence.
