Wedding in Iowa
Well, we survived the trip. I was asking for lots of prayers and thoughts on this trip home to Iowa at 36 weeks pregnant and the Lord answered. We had a wonderful time at my brother's wedding (I still can't believe he is married...no more weddings for my parents!) Drew was the ring-bearer and he walked down the aisle like an "old pro". I think he left his "shyness" in NJ because we found it when we got home!! Here are some photos from the event. Those that are on a slight angle were taken by Drew...he is becoming quite the little photographer!

Drew's New Toy
Grandma and Grandpa Kahler had a great idea to get Drew a trampoline, so that I could sit outside and watch him jump, instead of having to play baseball or soccer or something else with him when it is 90+ degrees outside. So, also on our anniversary, we decided to buy Drew a gift! Here are some photos of him enjoying it.
On the 4th of July, Drew came down with a fever (probably an ear infection). This put a damper on our 4th of July festivities (no parades or fireworks) but it has not kept him from jumping in his trampoline. Thanks for the idea Gma and Gpa!!
How we spent our 6th wedding anniversary!
We decided to do a little exploring as a family instead of something romantic on our 6th wedding anniversary! We drove up the Hudson River into upstate New York. We stopped at the Stony Point battlefield and lighthouse. What beautiful history and what breathtaking views overlooking the Hudson.
This is Drew as we began the ascent to the lighthouse.

We also made a visit to Westpoint Military Academy. We walked through the museum and had ice cream for dessert at a cute ice cream parlor across the street from the campus.
Here is mom and Drew in front of the campus.

To the End of June...a Wonderful Month!
Here are some photos of the boy during the last days of June. We have been having too much fun!
Dentist Drew was looking at mommy's teeth with his scope.
Doctor Drew was listening to the baby's heartbeat with his stethoscope.
Our town had a carnival on the last weekend of June! It was really hot, but we attempted it anyways. Drew had lots of fun riding the slide, firetrucks, old cars and ferris wheel with Dad.
Surprisingly, these trucks cruised around. Good thing there were safety belts or I would have been more of a nervous wreck!
This is the hottest summer I can remember...Drew has been enjoying it in the pool!
