Christmas Eve 2009

On Christmas Eve, we went to the mall to see Santa. Unfortunately, the line was too long, so Drew read the newspaper while we drove home. Drew saw in the paper that Santa was at a local bank, so we hoped the line would be shorter!! It was!! Drew got to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas, "Cars and Trucks". This Santa was a little scary with his pet bird, but we were shocked that Drew went up and sat next to him. He even danced a little for Santa!
"Santa" (ie. mom and dad) had fun preparing the gifts for Christmas morning. We have never had so many presents under our tree. We left milk, cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer. This is what was left in the morning. More to come of Christmas DAY!!!

Holiday Parade

Here are some photos from the holiday parade last weekend. It was snowing that night but we still bundled up and enjoyed the parade. Drew LOVED all the emergency service vehicles! He was great at waving to all the people in the parade. He also really enjoyed his candy cane. After the parade, he came home and played in the snow with Dad. The "snow aliens" made crop circles in our front yard. The snow is all gone now...but it is REALLY COLD!!

My Fish

My boy still has not out grown his love for the water! I think it is great that he loves water that much, but it makes Tim cold thinking about how long Drew can play in the tub.

White Stuff

Today is December 5th and it is the first day of white stuff (ie. snow) this year. None of it is sticking because it is almost 40 degrees but there is definitely snow in NJ. We are going to a Holiday parade tonight in Westwood (only 10 minutes away). We are going to see Santa Claus and Rudolph!!

I wanted to share with everyone what our Christmas tree looks like. We have wrapped books under the tree so every night from Dec. 1st-24th he gets to open one before bedtime.
Tonight St. Nick is coming, so Drew is going to put his shoe outside his door and St. Nick will leave him little goodies in it (ie. toothbrushes and M&Ms).
Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and getting into the festive mood!
