Today it was beautiful in NJ! Probably mid-60's most of the day...so we decided to take a little field trip. I had heard about the 2nd largest waterfall on the East Coast (Niagara being the largest) that was only 30 minutes away. So we packed up and headed out not knowing really what to expect. What we found...a dirty, run down town of Paterson, NJ with a beautiful waterfall along the Passaic River that nobody in the town respects. Tim and I both agreed that if we were mayor, we would devote the majority of our time to keeping the "state park" clean around the falls. It was covered in graffiti and trash!! We were disgusted by the lack of respect for such a beautiful landmark that has been around for over 200 years. But we still had a nice time viewing the falls and Drew liked to "run around a little bit". This just gave us more incentive to go check out Niagara sometime while we are living here.
Hope you enjoy the falls!
