Just a Trim

Drew had his first official haircut...he did pretty well. He sat really well until the barber tried to cut his bangs and when he brought out the razor. Needless to say, both Drew and mom had hair ALL over them. Especially since he refused to let the barber put a cape on him or brush/vacuum him off when he was finished. But we all survived and he looks like such a boy now. We saved his "rat tail" for his baby book. Here is a before picture and a few after shots.

Impromptu Trip!

So, for my 29th birthday, Tim and I took an impromptu trip to New Jersey. Tim was going for work and I decided to tag along (without Drew!!!). My lovely sister agreed to come watch Drew for the weekend! Drew had so much fun with his Aunt. I will post pictures when she sends them to me.
We had a really great time in New Jersey. For my birthday we went to an Irish Pub for dinner called The Porter House. Here is a photo of the birthday girl!!

So Busy...

I have to apologize for not doing a better job of updating my blog these days...we have been so busy and lots of exciting things happening in our lives. I will, slowly but surely, get everyone caught up on the news!
Here are some photos from Tim's parents visit two weekends ago. We had a very nice time with them. They really enjoyed seeing Drew and couldn't believe how much he had grown in three months.
Yesterday was Father's Day and we had a great day with Dad at hurling. Drew got Dad a new shaver and some brown dress shoes.
Yesterday was also Drew's 15-month birthday. Today we have a doctor's appt. for his 15 month check-up and shots. Wish us luck!!!!

May and June Showers

So, the past two weeks have been filled with showers...literally. We have had cold, grey gloomy weather for as long as I can remember. Where is our sunshine?!?

Drew and I also flew home for my sister's wedding shower on May 30th (he did GREAT on the flight)! We had a nice time back home and the shower was a lot of fun. He really enjoyed playing with grandpa, grandma, aunts and uncles. (I will have to post pictures of him on the mower and golfcart when I get them from my mom).

On Saturday night, I spent my first night away from Drew (which means Tim had his first night alone with Drew). I went to stay with a friend and go to her baby shower on Sunday morning. It was fun to get OUT with the ladies for a change. The baby shower was so much fun and it gives you the "itch" for more kids!!

Drew continues to grow up and amaze us. He is saying more words, "Oh no", "Golf cart", "Truck", "All Done" and continues to learn new signs. We have been keeping ourselves busy with trips to the zoo and park.

We are really looking forward to our trip to Portland at the end of the month. We are renting a beach house on the Oregon Coast with our friends in Seattle. They have a boy, Cullen, that is only 6 days older than Drew. It should be a great time!
Sorry for so few photos.
