Long Time....

Sorry it has been awhile since my last post...nothing super dooper exciting has happened here! Drew continues to grow and surprise us every day. He is developing a little independence and an attitude. On Thursday, Drew and I are flying home to IA for the weekend. My sister's wedding shower is on Saturday. I hope Drew can sit still and behave on the 55 minute flight!! Here are a few random photos from the month of May! I think it is almost time to get him his first official haircut...what does everyone else think??

EXTERMINATOR DREW

So Drew has figured out BUGS. He loves to step on ants (see video above). He also knows to stay away from bees/wasps as he has been stung now! He also swats at flys because he watches his mother do that...they bite here in Wisconsin!!

The only problem he has with ants is that he cannot decipher between the bug "ant" and the other "aunt". So whenever he finds an ant...he signs "aunt". I try to show him the sign for "bug", but he knows it is called an ant...so he signs "aunt". Here is a few photos of him finding ants and trying to sign "aunt".

Take a Minute...

...to smell the roses! Drew LOVES to smell the flowers in the yard. He also likes to touch them when I am not looking, but he is very gently with them, most times!

Boo!

Drew's new favorite word is "Boo," except his sounds more like "Ba". He says it ALL the time...when you wake him up from a nap...when you come around a corner...to scare bunnies out of the yard. But his favorite is to play peek-a-boo behind doors. Here is a video of him playing the "boo" game ( I apologize is it sideways...took it on digital camera and couldn't get it to flip)!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day! Drew was an angel this morning and woke me with a kiss. He also let me make him french toast with strawberries for breakfast. He and Dad bought me Peanut M&M's, Swedish Fish, and a new running pedometer. We also plan to go to the Bare Minerals store to get some new makeup...just as soon as Drew wakes up from his 2 HOUR NAP!!!

Cutting the Grass

Drew had a GREAT time this weekend helping Dad cut the grass for the first time this spring. Tim is always so anxious to get that first CUT in and have a nice manicured yard. Drew is going to walk in his father's footsteps! Drew wanted to use the BIG mower, not his little one!!!!! He is even strong enough to push the big one (see video at the end).
