Drew got watermelon bubble bath for his birthday from his friend Ainsley. Here is Drew taking his 1st bubble bath. He LOVES to splash the water. And unplug the tub..as you can see!

Risky Business

Here is a video of Drew dancing to his birthday card, "I'm So Excited", that he got from Grandma and Grandpa Kahler. This was after his party, so hence the no pants. If you listen to everyone's conversation in the background they were trying to think of the movie Risky Business, when Tom Cruise is wearing a work shirt and underwear and slides across the floor on his socks. Sorry to all those wanting birthday videos. I think my sister took video on her camera and not ours. So I do not have any birthday videos...only photos which I all ready shared! SORRY!!!

Spring Cleaning

Drew was helping us clean the yard once the snow melted. However, the snow has now come back. Darn Wisconsin spring!

Happy 1st Birthday Drew!

My baby turned ONE on Saturday. I still can't believe it! Thanks to my family who came to celebrate and to all of Drew's friends who also came to celebrate with us. We had a nice party on Saturday afternoon. Drew ate a cupcake and opened WAY TOO MANY gifts! We also went swimming at the hotel my family was staying at after the party. He had fun (shivered the whole time he was in the water), but cried when it was time to get out of the pool!! Here are a few photos of the whole weekend experience. I will blog more about the weekend later, just trying to get some photos posted for all those curious! Also, Drew had his 12 month doctor's appt. He is 50th percentile in head circumference, 75th percentile in height, and 25th percentile in weight. So the doctor is VERY happy with his growth and development. She was very impressed to see him signing and making animal sounds. He continues to impress US everyday!!

Early Birthday!

Grandma and Grandpa Kraft and Aunt Annie came to town this past weekend to celebrate Tim's 30th birthday and Drew's 1st birthday. We had a nice salmon dinner with them on Friday night because it was nice enough to grill, but then the weather did not cooperate for the remainder of the weekend.

It rained on Sat all day but we did get a short trip to the zoo, where Drew got his ZOO PASS for his birthday! Sat afternoon Drew opened his birthday presents. He got so many wonderful gifts (soccer ball, wetsuit/sunglasses, fall jacket, clothes, crayons/markers, beach toys). He also got his wagon from his Great Aunt Carol and Great Uncle Roy. We can't wait to use that at the zoo this summer!

Sunday the weather got worse and Tim's family decided to stay another night, which was a blessing for everyone because we were able to go out with friends on Tim's birthday dinner and the Granparents and Aunt Annie got to spend more time with Drew while they babysat.

Hi Mom!

I love this picture...Drew has learned a few things this week...he is finally clapping...which is so cute because he is so proud of himself when he does it. He also has begun RUNNING...yes, an all out sprint! He has taken quite a few nose dives, so there are bruises on his knees. He loves to be chased by mom when she wears his Thomas hat and he loves to chase mom as he wears the Thomas hat. It has finally been nice enough to go outside and he LOVES to walk around the yard. There is a neighbor dog that barks at him and he BARKS right back! ARR! ARR! ARR! And, oh, the dance parties we have...so much fun!
