RIP Jesse...We will miss you!

Some of you know, but some do not know why I have not posted in the past few days. Last weekend, my family was shook with another loss...my cousin Jesse (my Mom's nephew) passed away in his sleep. He was only 20 years old. The cause of his death is still unknown. His visitation was Tuesday and his funeral was Wednesday. Both were sad but lovely occasions and I have never seen more kids come out to celebrate the life of such a colorful kid! We were not planning on making a trip anywhere for Thanksgiving, but unfortunately (and fortunately), we were able to go home and be with family. Those of you that have sent prayers and well wishes, we thank you very much! Hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving and are now preparing for the Christmas season!!!!!!!!!

Peek-a-Boo!

Drew LOVES to play peek-a-boo with us. It is so funny! Some other games that he does recently (that I only have longer videos of him doing-sorry) are cheering for the Marquette basketball team (he waves his arm like Arsenio Hall) and keeping beat on the floor when I tap my foot to a rhythm. It is so hilarious to watch him!!!

GOOOO, GOOOO, Go-Marquette, Go-Go-Go-Go!!!!

Last night we were fortunate enough to take Drew to his first Marquette basketball game. Tim's co-worker, Cindy, gave us her tickets.
We had a great time!!! He didn't even seem to mind the cold walk from the parking lot or the LOUD NOISE! He liked watching the band and the cheerleaders that were right in front of us.
Funny story of the night...some old lady made Drew cry in the ladies bathroom when she was admiring his blue eyes and then she felt bad, so she grabbed the dirty diaper from me, wrapped it up and threw it away!!
We left just after half-time, but we got home in time to see the Golden Eagles beat Houston Baptist! THANKS AGAIN TO CINDY AND BOB FOR THE TICKETS!

CONGRATS ADAM AND LAURA!!!!

Just got a text message from my brother who is in UTAH with his girlfriend Laura...he proposed...she said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, I can't wait to have Laura as a sister-in-law! Can't wait to hear all about the proposal and see photos!
CONGRATS AGAIN!!!!

A.R.M.Y. Crawl

Okay, so Drew is finally learning to crawl and use his upper body. But now if we can just get him to use his upper and lower bodies together he will really be moving. Now he just looks like he is pulling his legs along!! He was crying, so I laid him on our large rug in the living room and sat down at the computer in the next room to "get away" for a while. He decided that was not cool of MOMMY and was going to come tell me all about it. He almost made it before I felt so bad for the little guy who was working so hard to get to me.

He also LOVES to hold onto our fingers and pull himself up to standing. He then proceeds to walk, holding onto our fingers, of course!! Sorry no video of that, I need both hands to hold onto him, which I found out the hard way last night! OOPS!!!!!!

Sorry about the videos....

I do not understand why the videos are not loading lately! Sorry!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a Spoonful...

Here is a video of Andrew trying to feed himself. He LOVES to grab the spoon and finally he figured out that he needs to put it in the dish. Now if he can just get it to his mouth, then maybe I can actually put food in the bowl without him making a BIG MESS!!!!

P.S. Sorry about the previous video, for some reason BLOGGER is being funny about uploading some videos. I will continue to try uploading it till it works.

Wishes it were summer again...

Drew wants to go swimming! I guess you can call this SWIMMING or FLYING, whichever you prefer, either way it is darn cute!! He loves to try to get to mom's picture frame on the table, even if he has to FLY there!

Teething Video

Sorry, the last one didn't seem to work!

All I Want for Christmas...

IS DREW'S TWO FRONT TEETH!!

He is terribly teething right now! He is weird though because he is getting his top front teeth before he gets his bottom teeth!! He also has a cold, which makes him SLOBBER and SNOT even more than normal. It also is making it very difficult to get him to take naps, eat and relax. But I guess those are the joys of teething. Here is a video of Drew sucking on his tongue, his latest teething funny!! The left front tooth is coming in well, the right one is just starting to poke through the gums. When he lets me, I will try to get a photo to post.

Love to the Krafts!

Grandpa Dick, Grandma Sue, Aunt Annie and Cody came to visit this weekend. We had such a wonderful time. Sue...I thank you again for bringing dinner for Friday night! Can't wait to see everyone at Christmas! Here are a few photos of Drew with his grandparents and aunt. He is trying to show he is "SO BIG" in one of the photos with Dick...SO CUTE!!!!!

Halloween 2008

TIGGER!!!!
Drew had a great 1st Halloween. He went to a Halloween party with his swimming buddies. They made picture frames, decorated sugar cookies, and hit a pumpkin pinata...none of which Drew could do but he watched and enjoyed. Here are a few photos from his party.

The Elm Grove trick or treating was Friday night, so we stayed at our house to hand out candy to our 10 kids that we get every year. Drew was ready with his "Count Dracula" candy bucket, but next year will be more fun for him (and mommy doesn't need any more candy to eat this year)!! Drew is also showing you how big he is...I ask "How big is Drew?" and he puts his hands up and I say, "SO BIG"!!
Then we went TRICK OR TREATING at Dino and Stephanie's house and to see Ellie in her ladybug costume. They were so cute together, until they realized they were sitting next to each other.
